Junk mail submissions overview

The FirstAlert! service can only block the junk mail that has been submitted to it by its users. MailWasher Server users can help contribute to the effectiveness of FirstAlert! by submitting any junk mail that makes it past MailWasher Server's filtering.

MailWasher Server users submit messages to FirstAlert! by forwarding them to a configurable submission address on your system. MailWasher Server intercepts all messages to this address, anonymizes them to protect the privacy of your users, and uploads the anonymized message to FirstAlert!.

Note that MailWasher Server never automatically uploads your mail to FirstAlert! under any circumstances - users must explicitly submit each message they think is junk mail.

This section allows you to change the address MailWasher Server should use to pick up submissions from users. If you want to prevent MailWasher Server from ever uploading messages to FirstAlert!, see Privacy options overview.
