How to add an email address to the blacklist

The purpose of this task is to add an email address to the blacklist.

Adding an email address to the blacklist guarantees that MailWasher Server blocks all messages sent from that email address, quarantining them and sending a rejection notice back to the sender. See Email address lists overview for more information.

Steps

Complete the following steps to add an email address to the blacklist.

From the MailWasher Server home page menu, select blacklist. The Email Address Lists - blacklist page displays.

Enter the email address that you want to add to the Reject list in the Add new address field.

note You can use simple wildcards in the address if you want to match, for example, an entire domain. See Using wildcards in email address lists for more information.

Click addbutton to add the address to the list. The Email Address Lists - blacklist displays, showing the new address in the list. This task is now complete.
